If you haven’t booked a summer holiday yet, there are some amazing parts of the world that would still be relatively cheap to travel to. Bosnia and Herzegovina is becoming more popular as a destination, with interesting cities, beautiful countryside and hot temperatures in the summer.
Bosnia is slightly more difficult to fly to from the UK, but you can easily get a two-leg flight from Heathrow airport. This will usually go via Germany, possibly Cologne. If you are going to go to Bosnia, the easiest place to fly to is the capital, Sarajevo. This will take you a few days to explore, with all of its fascinating history. It is the location where World War I started, and you will be able to explore all of this through its museums.
There are also ancient towns like Mostar, with its iconic bridge and wonderful views. You will have a lovely holiday, with both history and relaxation.
